Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rezumable (the "Service"), operated as a sole proprietorship based in Pune, India ("Rezumable", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Rezumable analyzes your resume against job descriptions using artificial intelligence and produces scores, keyword analysis, and improvement suggestions, alongside tools to track your applications and tailor your resume. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use in your own job search.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One person per account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. Plans, quotas, and billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Every plan includes the full product; plans differ only in the number of resume analyses included per monthly cycle, as shown on our pricing page. Analysis quotas reset at the start of each calendar month and unused analyses do not roll over.

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. When you buy a subscription, you are transacting with Dodo Payments, and Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms apply alongside these Terms. Dodo Payments handles payment processing, sales taxes, and invoicing. Displayed prices may exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep your plan until then. We may change plan prices or quotas with at least 14 days' notice before your next renewal.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit: resumes, job descriptions, and edits (your "Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

Analyses are generated by sending your Content to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic's Claude API) under terms that prohibit using it to train their models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, retention, and your rights.

You are responsible for your Content and must have the right to submit it.

5. AI output: no guarantees

Scores, suggestions, and rewritten content are generated by AI and are informational only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. They are not professional careers, recruiting, or legal advice, and we do not guarantee interviews, callbacks, or job offers. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, or submit content you have no right to use;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau;
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or access it by automated means other than our interfaces;
  • Probe, disrupt, or circumvent security or usage limits (including quota enforcement);
  • Reverse engineer any part of the Service except where the law grants that right.

7. Intellectual property

The Service (including its software, design, and branding) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Dodo Payments (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), and Anthropic (AI analysis). Where the Service surfaces third-party job information, it is aggregated from public sources; we do not guarantee its accuracy or availability, and any application happens on the employer's own site.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from Profile → Account. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for us or other users. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. If we terminate your paid account without cause, we will refund the prorated remainder of your current billing period.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence, the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
